I've had an interest in homes and interior design in a purely amateurish way for a long time - probably all the fault of my mother and her love of interiors magazines going back to the 80s, many of which she has passed on to me. I occasionally do posts based on these magazines as part of my "Retro Decorator" series. 

At the moment I'm living in a house that my husband says we aren't allowed to alter until the kids are old enough not to get dirty handprints on the walls... In my frustrated state I decided to let my interior designer loose in cyberspace via this blog! I'm also currently collecting inspiration for a holiday apartment that we own in Cyprus.
