Moroccan Style Meets Scandinavian Style

I've made no secret of my love of both Scandinavian and Moroccan style in the past. Up to now, I've always thought they were probably kind of contradictory...

Until, that is, I came across this:

...and it instantly grabbed my attention.

I love all-white interiors, and although it seems like an easy thing to do (no colour matching involved, after all), in a lot of ways it can be tricky to get right, and avoid making it look too cold and clinical. This combination uses the laid-back, pared down Scandinavian feel, but with the pattern and interest of a Moroccan scheme, minus the rich colour!

If I had a room to do it in, I'd be tempted to give it a go with some fabulous Scandinavian and Moroccan accessories....
