Battered but Loved

We have been looking for the perfect pair of leather armchairs for our living room for a while now, without success (appears I am married to Mr Fussy when it comes to this subject).

Love the slightly battered look of these:

    Those are my dream chairs!! I have new looking brown leather chairs and they just don't cut it for me!

    And I'm jealous of your century home. Can I come visit? :)

    Me too! I love furniture that looks worn in, used, rustic and "battered". I think it gives the room a "lived-in" feel.
